George A. Baker's Obituary
We are deeply saddened to announce the passing of a cherished member of our community, a family man, and a respected former Alameda County Deputy Sheriff.
George was born in Pennsylvania to Victor and Alberta and has four sisters. After he came to California as a child, he completed some college and then went on to dedicate 20 years of his life to serving and protecting as a Deputy Sheriff. His commitment to law enforcement and public safety left an indelible mark on all who had the privilege of knowing him.
He loved fishing, hunting, his family, and his ranch. He was not only a father, brother, and uncle, but was honored to eventually become a great-great-grandfather, a testament to the large and loving family he helped nurture. His legacy will live on through the generations, each carrying a piece of his spirit and values.
His memory will forever be a beacon of guidance and love for his family, and his contributions to the community will always be remembered.
Please keep his family in your thoughts and prayers during this time.
