Genoveva Chacon Pineda's Obituary
Genoveva Chacon Pineda was a writer, educator, translator, sister, aunt, great aunt and more. Born July 22, 1940, in Acambaro, GTO, she was born too early for her time.
She moved to California in 1974 to pursue a better life and education. She graduated with a bachelors in Spanish and then went on to attain her bachelors in English.
She enjoyed reading, writing, and philosophizing, she never stopped learning. She loved music and listened to all ranges from classical to Pink Floyd. She loved watching sports, a big fan of baseball, knitting & crocheting, traveling the world from the comfort of her couch with access to google earth, spending time with her family and enjoyed eating a good bowl of clam chowder.
She passed on May 31, 2025, and will be forever loved and remembered by those she left behind.
