Gean Lyle Heath's Obituary
Gean Lyle Heath entered into rest, after a long illness at Sunbridge Care and Rehab, Hayward on December 16, 2001. He was 88 years old. He was born in Redmond, Utah, the second son of Joseph and Sena Heath. He was preceded in death by both parents and two brothers, Leroy and Jnard Heath. He leaves to mourn his beloved family, Barbara his wife of 61 years. Sons David of Fremont and Dennis of Sunnyvale, a dear Grandson Brian Heath of Fremont. A precious loving daughter in law Margo and a very dear new grand daughter-in-law Ivonne, one sister Beatrice Jensen and husband Alvin, one brother Valdo D. Heath and wife Joy of Salina, Utah, a nephew Jeff Heath and wife Deona of Richfield, Utah. Gean spent 26 years of his life in the service of his country. He retired in 1960 as an Air Force officer. Also retired from J.C. Penney in 1978. He loved all sports especially basketball and baseball. He was an "A's" season ticket holder for many years. Bowling was his favorite hobby. He loved his home and his family was the center of his life, his pride and joy. He will be remembered as a wonderful loving husband, a very devoted father and grandfather and a good friend. He will be sorely missed. Friends are welcome to attend a Memorial Service Thursday, December 20, 2001 at 2:30 p.m. in the Reflection Chapel. Donations may be made to Alzheimer's Association 2065 W.
