GARY ROLETTO's Obituary
Gary Antone Roletto died at the age of 72 on August 21st 2014, in Fremont CA, in the loving presence of family after a 27 year battle with Multiple Sclerosis. Gary grew up in Hayward, CA. He and his wife Adrianne, and sons Kevin and Daymon, made their home in Newark. Gary studied architecture, horticulture, and landscape design in college and was a carpenter by trade. He had so many hobbies and interests that they couldn’t all be listed here, such as, collecting Pre-Columbian artifacts, Latin American cultures, African art and culture, music and music history, baseball, basketball, etc. Before the wheelchair became part of his life, Gary could be found hill climbing on his motorcycle with his friends, and very often with his family at the beach, clamming, tide pooling, diving for abalone, or just playing with his boys. Happily, in 2001, Gary’s daughter in law Tracey, and over time, granddaughters Nora (age 9) and Fiona (age 4) joined in the fun. Gary was always glad to be able to spend time celebrating with his family, Adrianne’s family, and their many friends. Those remaining to miss and love him are his wife of 47 years, Adrianne, sons Kevin, Daymon and his wife Tracey, granddaughters Nora and Fiona. Brothers and sisters in law, Jim and Margo, Jeff and MaryRose, as well as brothers in law and sisters in law Larry and Shaina Lynch, John and Ruth Lynch, Rory Lynch, Tim and Crystal Lynch, and Patrick Lynch. As well as nine nieces and nephews and thirteen great nieces and nephews. All are invited to Chapel of the Chimes Reflections Chapel at 32992 Mission Blvd. Hayward CA for viewing on Thurs. Aug. 28th, 2014 from 5-9:00 p.m., rosary at 7:00 p.m. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at Holy Spirit Catholic Church in Fremont CA on Friday, Aug 29th 2014 at 1:00 p.m.
