How sad I am to hear the tragic news of Gary’s death. Our thoughts and prayers are with your family during this sad time. My family and I are honored to have the joy of knowing Gary and were blessed with his friendship. Over several years, Gary was a selected member of my youth baseball coaching staff, and his help and support were invaluable. Due to his commitment, dependability and positive attitude, many young boys/men were influenced by his fine example. I’ve seen players and coaches come and go but Gary was the constant who could be counted on in every situation. Gary often spoke of his great blessing in having a wonderful family and how proud he especially was of Danny accomplishments both athletic and academic. Gary will always be dearly missed… but he will never be forgotten! Coach Dan and Howard Family
Our condolences to you and your family. I know that Gary sure will be missed but he is in a better place now with no more pain. Gary (Dipper) was a special brother in law and he meant a lot to so many people in his life time. Wish that we could be there but our thoughts and prayers are with you guys. Love ya and miss you guys dearly, Phyllis and John and family.
We have only had the opertunity to know Gary for a brief time in his life, but he made an impact on our lives. He loved the farm & takeing care of his father in his time of need. We had good times on our motorcycles even had the opertunity to take him to the Sturgis motorcycle rally. Gary,Derrell & I even made a trip to see Kent & Diane in Des Moines Iowa one weekend. These are just a few of our memories. Cancer has taken another one of our angles.##imported-begin##Dale &Becky Young##imported-end##
Dear Gayle,Susan,Kevin,Danny, So sorry for your loss please know that my thoughts are with you at this difficult time. He will be missed but know hes in a better place where pain isn’t an issue. Gary was a very strong older brother but probably the story that will always be there for Gary and I will be that I chose to be born on his graduation day from high school. When he went away to the Air Force and came back for a visit I was scared to death of him and he would tell me that made him feel bad. Please know that I and my family extend the greatest sympathy for you and your family. Love from Gary’s sister Arlene Longly1##imported-begin##arlene longly##imported-end##
I am so glad that I was able to see Uncle Gary before he passed. He was one of my favorite Uncles. I only wished that my Mustang would have been done before his passing so I could have sent him a picture of it. I love you Uncle Gary, fly free in the wind until we meet again.
