Gail Calbreath's Obituary
Gail Marilyn (Barstow) Calbreath “GiGi” June 3, 1939 – Nov. 2, 2009 Resident of San Lorenzo Gail passed away peacefully with her family at her side on Monday, November 2, 2009. “GiGi”, as she was known, is survived by her loving husband of fifty-four years Ronald Calbreath. Gail was born in Minneapolis, MN and spent the majority of her life in the San Lorenzo area. GiGi was the loving mother of Ronald Jr. of Austin, TX (wife Sandy), Linda of Livermore (husband Jack Fox), and Tracey of Sacramento, CA (husband Steve Decocq). GiGi was grandmother to nine loving grandsons Ryan, Justin, Chad, Nick, Remington, Colin, Rylie, Corey, and Caleb, and one great granddaughter Elise “Cecee”. GiGi is also survived by her two brothers Donald Barstow of Dublin, CA and Phil Barstow of Salt Lake City, UT, and her sister in-law Charlene Grattan of Nevada and bother- in-law Jerry Calbreath of San Jose, CA, and the late brother in-law Bob Calbreath along with a number of cousins including special cousin Irene Freed of Anderson Island, WA. Gigi was Aunt to many nephews and nieces. Proceeded in death by her parents LeRoy and Bernice Barstow of San Lorenzo, CA. GiGi will be remembered for her great sense of humor and her generous spirit with love and affection by her family, grandchildren, and friends. GiGi’s greatest passion in her life was her family. We will always love you forever Forever in our hearts. Family AND Friends are invited to a visitation on Friday November 6, at 5:00 p.m. until 8:30 p.m. and A Celebration of Life on Saturday November 7, 2009 at 1:00 p.m. in the Reflection Chapel of Chapel of the Chimes, 329992 Mission Blvd. Hayward CA 94544. In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to Pathways Hospice, 333 Hegenberger Rd, Oakland, CA.
