Fredrick C. Costa's Obituary
Fredrick Carl Costa, age 90, passed away October 28, 2018 at the caring and loving community of the Masonic Home in Union City. Born on September 11, 1928 in Niles, CA to Leontine (Martin) and Antone Costa. Known to most as Fred, he lived his life to the fullest playing piano from a young age until just weeks before his passing. He loved to build, tinker, travel, spend time with friends and family, listen to and play jazz music, BBQ, and relax outside while watching the wind blow the trees. He was a Mason for 26 years, first joining in Georgetown, CA. He loved being a part of the wonderful Masonic organization. He was an amazing musician, friend, father, grandfather, great grandfather, and husband. He was loved and looked up to by many. He is survived by his beloved wife of 44 years Cheryl Costa, 5 children (Patricia, Joyanne, Robin, Fredrick, and Athea), 8 grandchildren, and 7 great grandchildren. The Costa family would like to extend our gratitude to all of the staff at the Masonic Home. A memorial will be held after the holidays at the Masonic Home in Union City.
