Franklin Fay Rees Born: January 20, 1920 Passed: July 10, 2014Franklin Fay Rees graduated from Natrona County High School in Casper Wyoming in 1939. His parents were Nellie and Ed Rees. Franklin was preceded in death by his loving wife of 55 years, Margaret McLeod Rees, daughter Caroline, and siblings Riley and Robert Rees. Franklin served in the United States Army, in WWII in New Guinea, Sergeant 1759th Engineer Battalion. Franklin Fay Rees has been a resident of Castro Valley California since 1951. An active community person Franklin was active in the Shriners, The Crow Canyon Lodge 551 Scottish Rite, since 1983, and he was an active member of the VFW and the American Legion. He attended the Castro Valley United Methodist Church. Franklin was an engineer with Rhodes and Jamison for many years. Franklin Fay Rees leaves to cherish his memory, on son James (Robin), grandchildren Joshua (Julianna), Jacob (Tiffany), Joel, and Emily; 6 great grandchildren, Alexandra, Zachary, Tristan, Madison, Elias and Gabriel. Death leaves a heartache no one can heal. Love leaves a memory no one can steal.
