Franklin Devan Agee's Obituary
Sept. 28, 1936 – Aug. 23, 2008 Resident of Oakland Celebrating a life well lived, Franklin entered into rest on August 23, 2008. He was born in Magnolia, Alabama to the late Dan. W. Agee and Lean Hope. Franklin was a kind and gentle man who lived and loved life to the fullest. He was an innovative and highly talented heavy-duty diesel mechanic during his career. Franklin is survived by his wife, Dorothy; mother-in-law, Ardelia; sons and God-sons; daughters and God-daughters; one brother; four sisters; 20 grandchildren, 9 great grandchildren and many relatives and friends. Visitation will be held on Sunday, Aug. 31, 2008 from 3-6 PM at CHAPEL OF THE CHIMES, 32992 Mission Blvd, Hayward, CA. Service will be held 11:00 AM, Tuesday, Sept. 2nd at the BETH EDEN BAPTIST CHURCH, 1183 Tenth Street, Oakland, CA. Interment following at: Chapel of the Chimes 510-471-3363
