Frank W. Tehada's Obituary
Frank W. Tehada, 68, a resident of San Lorenzo for 36 years, entered into rest in Hayward on June 18, 2002. He was born in Hollister, CA on January 7, 1934. He enjoyed deep-sea fishing, computers, and duck hunting, bike riding, traveling. He was an Oakland Raider fan and a longtime season ticket holder. He worked for AT&T Western Electric for 35 years. A veteran of the Korean War and was the recipient of the Purple Heart and Bronze Star. Frank loved to feed the squirrels in his backyard. His wife of 25 years, Carol Loberg in 1999, his parents Joseph and Sarah Tehada and one brother, Ted Tehada, preceded him in death.He leaves to mourn his passing, his wife, Donna Tehada of San Lorenzo. His children, Sue Mellor and Cindy Armenio both of Newark, Cathy Platt and Russell Loberg both Sonora, survived him. His sister, Sharon Padlo of Stockton and his brothers, George Tehada of Castro Valley and Jack Tehada of Alameda, survive him. He was the caring grandfather of Travis Armenio.A funeral service will be held at 10:30AM, Monday, June 24, 2002 in the Mission Chapel of Chapel of the Chimes Funeral Home, 32992 Mission Blvd., Hayward, CA 94544.
