Frank H. Stone a Pleasanton resident entered into rest Wednesday, September 26, 2001 in Pleasanton. Born in New York on May 18, 1918, he was 83 years of age. Frank went to Officers Candidate school in New Jersey, served 17 years in the Army and retired as a Lieutenant Colonel. He worked for the National Cash Register Company of 44 years.Dearly beloved husband of Virginia Stone for 54 years. Loving father of Nancy Mullins of Pleasanton, Barbara Sauter of Pleasanton and Frank H. Stone III of Chico. Dear brother of Emily O'Connel and John Kaminski both of Saugarites, New York. Devoted grandfather of four grandchildren.At his request there will be no services held.
