Frank Rocha Duarte's Obituary
Frank R. Duarte a Union City, California resident entered into rest Saturday, September 22, 2002 in Union City. Born in Union City on April 6, 1909, he was 93 years of age. Frank was a farmer for 50 years. He loved gardening and tending to his rose bushes. He enjoyed watching boxing and Wrestling. He will be greatly missed by his long-time friend Charlie Jenero. Frank was one of 17 children. Loving father of Elizabeth Duarte-Achaigua and fianc?e' Jose Villanueva of Union City and Stan Duarte of Los Angeles. Dear brother of Dorothy Vital of Richmond, Zadie Dutra of San Leandro, Alberta Duarte and Joe Duarte of Pleasanton. His wife Mary Duarte of 35 years and several sisters and brothers preceded Frank in death. Visitation will be held Thursday, September 26, 2002 from 5:30-8:30 p.m. with a vigil service at 7:00 p.m. at Chapel of the Chimes in Hayward. Friends are welcome to attend a Mass of Christian Burial Friday, September 27, 2002 at 10:00 a.m. at Our Lady of Rosary Catholic Church; 703 'C' Street, Union City, CA 94587. Interment to follow at Chapel of the Chimes Memorial Park; 32992 Mission Blvd., Hayward, CA. 'Service of Marked Distinction'
