Frank William Adamson's Obituary
Frank William (Bill) Adamson (71) passed away at the Kaiser Permanente Hospital in
Modesto, California in the evening of Tuesday, October 18, 2022. He was born on
December 20, 1950, to parents Bette and Charles Adamson in Pittsburgh,
Pennsylvania. The Adamson family moved to Texas, back to Pennsylvania, and then to
California in the early 60’s. He lived in Tracy, California since 2001.
Bill graduated Villa Park High School in 1968. He earned an Associate of Arts degree
from Chabot College in 1972 and a Bachelor of Arts in Economics degree from
California State University, Hayward. In 1985 Bill became a Board-Certified Public
Accountant. In the 70’s Bill served in the U.S. Army Reserve. He was also a 32nd degree
Mason.
Bill passed away thirteen days prior to his official retirement. For the past 27 years he
had a rewarding career at Kapoor Enterprises and Bonfare/Stop N Save Markets as
Controller and Chief Financial Officer.
Bill was very loving, caring, and loyal. He was a dedicated father and a careerman. He
had a phenomenal singing voice and a great sense of humor. He enjoyed old classic
cars and listening to classic vinyl records. One of his favorite pastime activities was to
spend time at home with his daughter.
Bill is proceeded in death by his parents and brother, Charles. He is survived by his
daughter Maria Simone, brothers Richard and Jack, and sister Cheryl Passanisi.
Services will be held at 9:00am on Monday, November 14 at Chapel of the Chimes,
burial to follow. 32992 Mission Boulevard, Hayward, California 94544.
