FRANCES H NAKAMURA's Obituary
Frances Hisaye Nakamura - beloved wife, and mother of two, passed away on October 10, 2022 at the age of 79 in Fremont, California. Frances was born in Jerome, Arkansas, in a relocation camp during World War II. She grew up in Fowler, California until she married George Nakamura and moved to San Francisco, then to Fremont. She graduated from San Francisco State University and went onto teach Home Economics and Spanish to both Junior High and High School students at New Haven and Fremont Unified School Districts. After retirement, she found enjoyment in hobbies like gardening, tap dancing, bowling, bridge playing, and travelling.
Frances was preceded in death by her parents Masao and Kumi Fujikawa, as well as her brothers: Alfred (surviving wife-Linda), Harry, and Henry. She is survived by her husband George, and their children Cindy (husband Raymond) and grandsons Bradley and Brent, son Rodney (wife Daphne), her brother Richard (wife Eileen), and sister Nancy. Several other extended family members will also miss her.
A private funeral service will be held on October 30, 2022 at 2PM.
