Solano, Francciny Maria's Obituary
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the loss of Francciny Maria Solano, aged 50, who passed peacefully while surrounded by loved ones on December 20, 2024 in San Leandro, California.
Francciny was born on January 10, 1974 during a cold winter in Springfield, Massachusetts. She proudly called the San Francisco Bay Area home for the majority of her life, where she lived in Hayward for 44 years and graduated from Tennyson High School. She went on to receive an Associate degree in Applied Science with an emphasis in Medical Office Administration from Heald College and worked at Stanford Medical Center in Palo Alto for more than 24 years.
Francciny was a citizen of the world, traveling to numerous countries across Asia, Europe, and the Americas. She always lived her life to the fullest, perfectly embodying the Costa Rican mantra “Pura Vida”, or “pure life”. While Francciny cared deeply about the welfare of all animals, she cherished her late chihuahuas, Lily and Chuy, most of all. She will be remembered by those who knew her for her infectious humor, unwavering devotion to the 49ers, and love of online shopping.
Francciny is survived by her parents, William and Lydia (née Madriz) Solano, her sister, Mabel Calero, her brother, Randy Solano, her nephew, Edgar Calero, nieces, Gabrielle and Nadia Solano, and a large, loving extended family.
A Celebration of Life will be held in her honor, with a Viewing at Chapel of the Chimes in Hayward on January 6, 2025 from 4pm to 8pm and a Funeral Mass at Saint Joachim Catholic Church in Hayward on January 7, 2025 at 10:30am. In lieu of flowers, please consider donating to the American Cancer Society or the East Bay SPCA in her name.
