Fortunata B. Paule's Obituary
Fortunata “Grandma” Bartolo Paule was born in Pampanga, Philippines on October 9, 1930. She entered Heaven’s Gates on December 9, 2018.A loving mother and homemaker, Fortunata was a remarkable cook, and enjoyed preparing meals for her family and friends, most especially over the holidays. She was a master in the kitchen. Grandma was always able to turn last night’s leftovers into the next days’ favorite meal. Of course, the meal was not complete, unless rice was on the plate. She made the best dinuguan, and laughed when she told new friends it was “chocolate meat”.She loved the growth of both her immediate, and extended family; as she watched, and mentored their children. Despite many obstacles, family and friends were Fortunata’s passion and delight.Fortunata is survived by her loving husband of 70 years, Monico Paule. She is also survived by her daughters: Lilia Naguiat, Lita Abrera, Marita Antonio, Teresita Santos and Zeny Logmao.Along with her two sons, Gary Paule and Romeo Paule. She is also survived by her grandchildren, Brian Naguiat, Analynn Abrera, Haydee Lopez, Juanito Abrera Jr. Ramon Abrera, Rolando Abrera, Leleen Logmao, Kerri Antonio, Jason Antonio, Tracey Santos, Fabien Santos, DJ Paule, Summer Paule, Sebastian Paule, Tristan Paule, Gavin Paule and Sharisse Paule. She will also be forever remembered by her numerous nieces, nephews and extended family and dear friends.A Prayer Service will be held on Friday, December 21, at 4:30 9:00 p.m., at The Chapel of the Chimes, 32992 Mission Blvd. Hayward, CA.A funeral service celebrating her life will be held on Saturday, December 22, 2018, at 1:00 pm at St Anne’s Church, 32223 Cabello St, Union City, CA 94587
