Florence Evelyn Gullion, 75 passed away on Friday, September 14, 2001 at his home in San Leandro, California. She was born on March 4, 1926 in Albany, Alabama. She has been a resident of San Leandro, California for 27 years and an Alameda County resident for a total of 53 years. She was a Homemaker for 51 years. Florence was a very caring person who often spent her time caring for others. She helped to raise some of her nieces and took care of many elderly friends in their last years.She is survived by her beloved husband of 51 years, Kenneth A. Gullion of San Leandro, California. She leaves behind her loving children and their spouses; Jackey & Tom Hayes of Minnesota and Kenneth R. & Connie Gullion of Fremont, California. She also leaves behind a dear sister; Bonnie Crisp of Tennessee. She leaves her very wonderful grandchildren; Kevin Hayes of Minnesota, Kimberly and Katie Gullion of Fremont, California. She was preceded in death by nine sisters and three brothers.Family and Friends are invited to attend a visitation on Tuesday, September 18, 2001 from 5:00 p.m. - 8:30 p.m. at Chapel of the Chimes Funeral Home.
