Florence C. Edwards' Obituary
Florence Edwards Sept. 22, 1926 – Dec. 9, 2008 Resident of Newark Florence resided in Newark for 47 years. She was born and raised in San Francisco. She was employed with Hostess Bakery for 17 years. She was preceded in death by her husband, Cyril Edwards and son, John Edwards. She loved being with friends at Newpark Mall and the Better Breathers Club. She made friends wherever she went. She had a heart of gold and was loved by all who knew her. She was generous and loved shopping and was fond of animals. She will be greatly missed by her sisters: Barbara Bruno of Gilroy, Margaret Hopps of San Francisco, and her brother, James Hattabough of Antioch, as well as nieces and nephews, and her dog Brandie. Visitation will be on Wednesday, December 17 between 4:30 and 8:30 p.m. A funeral service will be held on Thursday, December 18 at 1:30 p.m. at Chapel of the Chimes, 32992 Mission Blvd. Hayward, CA. 94544 Chapel of the Chimes 510-471-3363
