Bee, you were such a warm, giving, and loving person. I’ll never forget our time spent together, especially the long drive we did with Pam and Shaun on the coast of California and Washington! We had so much fun, especially in the redwoods and the tilamook factory. You will be forever in my memories. Love Lisa
One time Kathy and I visited Bee when Mother Chicken decided to cross the road with her brood of little ones. Mother Chicken had no problems, but her little chicks slipped down the storm gutter. We kept picking those little darlings out, but in they went again and again. We finally gave up. In the morning we were quite surprised and very relieved to see all chicks accounted for in the neighbors front lawn across the street. Bee enjoyed the little moments of life. Lucile When we were girls I remember all sleeping in the same bed, me, Bee and Jean. We had a wrought iron headboard and would each plant our chewing gum on the headboard for safe keeping. Naturally, in the morning we slid off our ABC (already been chewed) gum and away we went!! I suspect Bee would have been the one to hatch this plan. I was the “goody-two-shoes” and she liked to break the rules. Lucile On Saturdays we would go out to the Trout Farm. Mother would light the stove and start making the bread. The girls and I would work with dad in the garden. I think that’s where Bee go her love of gardening. Lucile
