He is survived by his loving wife of 37 years, Diana; his only son, Jim (Diane); daughters, Lorraine (Dave Buttress), Deanna Newton, and Jessica Carte; seven grandchildren, Matthew, Alexsis, Casey, Austin, Ashley, Bobby and Samantha; and one great-grandson Matthew Allen Newton Jr.; sisters, Betty Busby, Jenny Bird, Judy Chance, Janet Davidovich (Steven); and foster sister, Brenda Heverling. He was a brother-in-law to Tom & Diana Luque, Ed & Juella Luque, and Charlotte Mitchell (the late Ken Mitchell); and godfather to Tommy Luque and Tammy Campbell. He had an extended circle of family and friends. He was always “Uncle Frank” because he was like a father to numerous nephews, nieces, great nephews and nieces and great-great nephews and nieces. Frank had been in the Army until 1971, and was a member of Teamsters Local 70. He was a dedicated worker for Rodgers Trucking Co. for over 35 years. Frank loved hunting, watching sports on TV, country music and playing guitar with his nephew John Castro. But most of all he loved his annual fishing trip to Oregon with his son Jim, grandson Austin, nephews Carl & Jason Bird and Doug Wilson. He will be missed by many, but most of all by neighbors and best friends of 32 years, Gerald and Yolanda Fann. Frank, you’re now free of pain and sorrow. Go be with the ones that have gone before you and wait for us with Jesus at heavens gates. We love you !
