FERDINAND BACANI SANIDO's Obituary
Born Aug 29, 1968 Las Pinas Manila
A father, son, brother and partner in life. Lived life as he had intended; a lover of all things Martial Arts, of his native land and a collector of memories and movies.
Sometimes did things on a whim but, always guarded. Knew he was imperfect but, always tried and gave what he could wholeheartedly.
As fate would have it, life was intentionally cruel. In true form; he wasn’t angry nor regretful instead he fought valiantly and did so with gusto. At times you would catch him in tears but, memories lived on of his childhood and all his travels with his Beloved Partner- Cecil De Lara who cared for him until he drew his last breath.
Not without resistance he got to visit his homeland one last time enjoying the scenery, feeling the warmth of the water against his skin and with a look of content and happiness.
Survived by his son; he held his son’s hand for as long as God allowed him in this life given him. With that he left peacefully the way he intended… in silence.
….
I close my eyes and I heard a voice, “it’s ok to let go”.
I’m not sure if it was my voice, his or the voice from beyond or my beloved Aunt. Maybe it was just a dream. But it was a voice that brought peace to the heart.
Rest In Peace Cuya….
