Felix Damo Ulep Sr.'s Obituary
Felix Damo Ulep Sr was born on November 16, 1920 in San Nicolas, Ilocos Norte where he lived until 1936. His parents were Agaton Ulep and Apolinaria Damo, he was the youngest of five children. He attended the following schools; San Nicolas Elementary School then he went to Lavag Provincial High School.At a young age of 16 years old he moved to Manila, Philippines then he returned to Ilocos Norte to marry his wife Antonina on May 28, 1949 and settled in Quezon City in 1950, they had 6 children 4 girls and 2 boys; Fidela Tecson, Juliana Taburaza, Violeta Oliva, Veronica Guijo, Felix B. Ulep Jr and Bonifacio Ulep. He retired in 1966 after serving for 30 years in the Philippine Army as a Philippine Scout during WWII and moved to Honolulu, Hawaii settled there working in the hotel industry from 1967-1979, on 1979 they moved to Fremont, Ca and lived there for 35 years working as an electrician.Through the years he made some special friends at St. Anne’s Church where he was a member as a Parishioner for more than 20 years.He will be very missed and remembered as a very patient, understanding, outgoing, hardworking and a strong hearted man.
