Felipa Sarabia Luviano's Obituary
Mama, as she was known to her family, passed away peacefully on May 10, 2022 at the age of 93, with her family by her side. She was born on February 5, 1929 in Durazno, Durango, Mexico. Felipa is survived by her sisters, Ramona, Aurelia and Vicky, her son Miguel Luviano Jr., her daughters Rosie Savage and Gloria Galarsa, son in law Leonard Galarsa. She is also survived by four granddaughters, Alicia Ortegon, Angel Igano, her husband Gale, Lenora Wilson and husband Christopher, Christina Luviano and her fiance Mike, and four great grandchildren Brandon and Christopher Wilson, and Vicente and Lyla Igano.
The vigil will be held at 5:00 PM on Thursday, June 9 at Chapel of the Chimes Mortuary, Hayward. The funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10:30 AM on Friday, June 10 at Our Lady of the Rosary Church in Union City. Internment will take place directly following Mass at Chapel of the Chimes, Hayward. Felipa spent the majority of her life taking care of her family. Before she became physically limited, she was an active parishioner at Our Lady of the Rosary Catholic Church where she was a Eucharistic Minister. Her interests included spending time with her granddaughters, cooking, gardening, and watching telenovelas. She was loved and admired by everyone who knew her.
