Felicidad Reyes' Obituary
Felicidad Salatan Merlin was born on November 27, 1927 in Rosales, Pangasinan, Philippines to Maria and Santiago Merlin. She is the fifth of eight siblings, named Sixto, Beriang, Marcelina, Hipolito, Estelita, Esther and Santiago Jr. In 1949, she married Nelaing Reyes and together they raised their seven children: Evangeline, Filipina, Valentino, Ricardo, Arnelio, Elizabeth and Angelina. In 1979, Felicidad and her husband Nelaing migrated to the United States, where she worked as a seamstress.
Her children know her as a hardworking business woman, good dress maker and whose past time is to beat the casino slot machine. As to her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, she is beautiful, loving, kind, has a good sense of humor, thoughtful and generous. She is also a strong willed woman with a spicy personality.
Felicidad passed away on November 5, 2020 in Union City, California at the age of 92. She is survived by her seven children, 22 grandchildren and 19 great grandchildren. She will be greatly missed.
