Fatima Medeiros' Obituary
Fatima Medeiros was born August 6, 1942 in Sao Miguel, Azores Portugal. She married her husband Tony Medeiros at age 25 and in 1967 moved to their house in Hayward where they started their family.
Fatima Medeiros is survived by her son, Rick and daughter, Tina and four grandchildren, Ricky, Elaina, Jonas, and Matthew. She was a sister to Mary Jo, Victor, and Maria Dulce. She was a loving and loyal wife, mother and grandmother. She dedicated her life to taking care of her family, particularly her four grandchildren who she watched regularly. They would come over regularly and she would cook pancakes and linguiça and play board games and videogames. During their school years, you would regularly find her at any one of their sports games cheering them on. She loved to do word search puzzles, watch the warriors, A's, and Raiders, and tend to her garden. Fatima lived her whole life having faith in God. She woke up early every day to pray the rosary and pray for all her family. She never let the worries and stresses of this life get to her but always believed that God was in control.
