FAIFILI T. GAOTEOTE's Obituary
GAOTEOTE, Rev. Elder Sa’aoma’amalie Faifili Taumaoe Gaoteote, 72, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, brother, uncle, and a spiritual father to all, retired from his work on earth, on February 7th, 2018 in the comfort of his home in Fremont, CA. Days prior to his ennoblement, Dad shared his plans of retiring, from his ministerial occupation with the Sierra Pacific Conference Free Methodist Church, to his children and congregation. Although we were ready to plan out his retirement celebration during the Annual Conference for FY’2018, our Father in Heaven had greater plans for Dad. As our gospel declares in Mathew 25:23, “Well done, good and faithful servant! You have been faithful with a few things; `I will put you in charge of many things. Come and share your master’s happiness!’” We believe that Dad received the ultimate reward for his work on earth. “To God Be The Glory.” In celebration of his farewell grand-retirement, we have scheduled these special days to remember his life and legacy:Private Family Service: Thur., Feb. 22, 2018 from 4-8pm at Chapel of Chimes in Hayward, CAThe Wake/Public Service: Fri., Feb. 23, 2018 from 4:30-9pm at Hayward FMC in Hayward, CAFinal Service/Entombment: Sat., Feb. 24, 2018 from 10-12pm at Emanuelu FMC in San Lorenzo, CAOther proceedings will be announced during these ceremonies.
