Evelyn Nelmes-McKenney passed away in Calistoga, CA. on 6/7/2003. Evelyn was the beloved husband of Andrew E. Nelmes, (deceased), and loving mother of Donald A.. Nelmes of Lower Lake, CA. Evelyn was also the beloved sister of Dorothy F. Beavis of Sacramento, CA., and Gladis Beavis of Lake Tahoe. She was the dear grandmother of Jamie Nelmes, Keith Daniels, Brenda Frey, and Oma Ericson, and the great grandmother of Misty and David Singleterry, R.G. Oakley, Sabrina and Sheena Erickson, Sophie and Charlote Jauques. Evelyn was also the proud great-great grandmother of Brandon J. Singleterry, Abigail M. DeGroff, and Kailey A. Oakley. Evelyn is also survived by Dorothy & Jim Nelmes.Evelyn was a valued member of the Mountclair Hillside Gardners Club. Evelyn worked as an orthopedic seamstress and a homemaker. Evelyn was a native of Oakland, CA.. Any donations in Evelyn’s name may be made to the Clearlake SPCA of Lake County, CA.Funeral services will be held on Friday, June 13th at 1:00pm
