Gladys “Evelyn” Galzignato Sept. 10, 1924 ~ Sept. 11, 2016 Born to parents James Richard Elwood and LuLu Gladys Tickle in Lucas County, Iowa. Preceded in death by her companion Jake DeYoung, 4 brothers, 3 sisters. She has 3 surviving sisters, Marlene, Eileen, and Pauline, all from Iowa. She worked at Caterpillar Tractor in San Leandro and worked for ANG. She enjoyed life so much, filling her time with family gatherings and road trips. She loved her family and many friends with everything she had, a big smile and a generous heart. Loved and missed by her children, Chuck Hand (Debra), Judy Blunt (Bill), Byron Shutts (Donna), Sheri Erickson (Gary), & her many grand and great grandchildren. Visitation 12:30 PM, Service 1:30 PM at Chapel of the Chimes, Hayward Fri. Sept. 16, 2016.
