Evelyn Navarro Dela Cruz's Obituary
Evelyn Navarro dela Cruz passed away peacefully Friday, September 15th 2017, at the age of 71 with her family by her side.Born in Bamban, Tarlac, Philippines on June 26th 1946, Evelyn moved to the U.S in 1970, where she married the love of her life, Adolfo Dela Cruz, on April 20th 1971. A devoted wife, mother, and grandmother, she leaves behind her husband of 47 years Adolfo, son Robert, daughter Rosebelle, son in-law Marc, and three grandchildren Nikolas, Ethan, and Benjamin. She is also survived by her brothers and sisters, Ernie, Ray, Brenda, Irma, Jerry, and Roger. Evelyn is now reunited with her beloved parents Odon and Rosario, and siblings Rosabel, Rudy, and Ely.Evelyn led a vibrant life, and was compelled to celebrate every occasion, even when faced with adversity. She enjoyed cooking, working in her garden full of flowers and fruit trees, and traveling the world with her husband and sisters, but most of all being with her family. She will be remembered for her selfless generosity, desire to help others, and bringing joy into the lives of her loved ones.The family warmly welcomes friends to join them for a viewing Saturday and Sunday, September 23rd & 24th from 5:00 – 9:00 PM., in the Mission Chapel, at Chapel of the Chimes, 32992 Mission Blvd., Hayward, California.
