Eveline Paula Schenkhuizen a Newark, California resident entered into rest Sunday, October 19, 2002 in Newark. Born in Meester Cornelis, Indonesia on August 28, 1924, she was 78 years of age. She was a homemaker for 58 years. She previously lived in Union City for 35 years. Loving mother of Winnie Smit of Newark and Ronald Schenkhuizen of Castro Valley. Dear sister of Hetty Van Der Windt of the Netherlands. Devoted grandmother of eleven grandchildren; twenty great grandchildren and one great great-grandchild. Her husband of 58 years, Max Schenkhuizen and daughter Myra Chevalier preceded her in death.Visitation will be held Wednesday, October 23, 2002 from 5:30-8:30 p.m. at Chapel of the Chimes in Hayward. Friends are welcome to attend a graveside service Thursday, October 24, 2002 at 12:00 p.m. at Chapel of the Chimes Memorial Park, 32992 Mission Blvd., Hayward.'Service of Marked Distinction'
