Ethel May Walker's Obituary
Ethel May Walker passed away Saturday, June 18, 2016 in Sacramento, CA. Ethel was born in Mt. Harris, Colorado on August 20, 1922 to Otto and Modena Miller. Where, she attended Mt. Harris Elementary School and Hayden High School leaving Mt. Harris in 1940. Ethel married John Gale Walker on February 8, 1949. John and Ethel made their home in the Bay Area where they raised three children. Ethel worked at Arnels Clothing Store during this time she was also raising her children. She enjoyed sewing, designing Glamour Dolls and listening to music. Some of her favorite songs were “Everyone Loves Somebody” by Dean Martin and “Hello Dolly” by Louis Armstrong. Ethel was a happy, caring, beautiful, creative, loyal and giving person. She loved spending time with her family and close neighbors Peggy and Gene; dear friends Audrey Menez, Helen Danielson and Cazmo Kramer. Ethel is survived by her children Michael Walker, Patrick Walker and Tina Ricardo; granddaughter Krystina Wilson, Cousins Jim Walker, Lynn Walker Balestrieri, Jerry Balestrieri and Estelle Costanza
