Esther Smith, 95, born in Pueblo, Colorado, on January 19, 1928, eldest child of Pedro and Carmen Acosta, passed away on April 26, 2023 in Tracy, California.
Esther is survived by her five children, Eugene Martinez, Joyce Skaza, Diane (Cal) Smith, Annette (Steve) Foster, Mel Smith; five grandchildren, John (Kristina), Lisa, Sarah (Aaron), Katie, Eddie (Jen); four great grandchildren, Shayna, Matthew, Anthony, Arian; and goddaughter Vivian. Siblings; Frances (Leslie), Carmen (Danny), Manuel (Hope), Mary, and Harold and many nieces and nephews.
Esther was preceded in death by her husband, Edward Smith; father, Pedro, mother, Carmen, sister, Louise; brothers, Isidro, Pete, Sam, Ray and brother/nephew Ricky.
