Ernesto Lostica's Obituary
Ernesto lived an amazing 84 years, 56 of those years with his beautiful wife, Leah.Ernesto exemplified the true meaning of being a father by setting a good example by working tirelessly to raise his five children, then later in life helping his children by watching over their kids as they worked to provide for their families. With eleven grandchildren and three great grandchildren, nothing meant more to him than his family.In his younger years, Ernesto enjoyed playing basketball with friends. In later years, he liked playing Mahjong. He will always be loved and missed by his family.Ernesto is survived by his devoted wife, Leah, and five wonderful children, sons Lino, Jojo and Noel, and daughters Marian and Lorraine. He is also survived by sons-in-law Loy and Winniefredo, and daughters-in-law Lisa, Rowena and Josephine. He was the loving grandfather of Marie, Louie, John, Aaron, Christian, Samantha, Kyle, Christopher, KC, Justin and Abigail, and adoring great-grandfather of Lucas Jordan, Camilla Rose and Amare Faith.Ernesto is also survived by his sister Josie Caragan, brother Eduardo Lostica, and other family members and friends.Visitation will be held on Saturday, November 5th from 5 -9 pm and Sunday November 6th, with a Rosary to be said on Sunday at 7 PM at Chapel of the Chimes Funeral Home, 32992 Mission Boulevard, Hayward, CA in the Reflection Chapel. A Catholic funeral service will also be held in the Reflection Chapel on Monday, November 7th at 10:00 AM with a committal service to follow at Chapel of the Chimes Memorial Park
