Resident of Fremont Ernest passed away at the age of 88. He was a loving grandfather/great-grandfather to 16 grandchildren & 15 great grandchildren. Ernest was born in Martinez Ca. to Manuel & Anita Basurto.He was a gas construction worker at PG&E for 35yrs. Ernest enjoyed spending time with his family, going to the casinos, race tracks, fishing, baseball games and was a die-hard 49ers fan. He is survived by his loving wife Naomie Basurto of 75yrs., Sons Bob, David, Marty, Greg and Art Daughters Geri, Liana & Denise. Predeceased in death by sons Melvin & Ernest Jr. A memorial viewing will be held for Ernest Friday Feb. 18th 4-7pm & Memorial Service Saturday Feb.19th 9-11am @ Chapel Of The Chimes Hayward.
