Erlinda Santos Banaag's Obituary
Union City, CA – Erlinda Santos Banaag, 80, died Monday, January 11, 2021 at the Eden Medical Center in Castro Valley, CA.
She leaves her husband of 57 years, Narciso Banaag; her sons Jay and Elmer; her two grand kids, Elijah and Kimalyn; two who she treated like own daughters, Becky and Jinky; her four brothers, Felino, Alfredo, George and Arthur; her 5 sisters, Tessie, Carolina, Elenita, Dolores and Susan; and many relatives and close friends.
Born and raised in Manila Philippines, the daughter of Guadalupe and Mateo Santos, she graduated with Bachelor of Science in Education from the University of the Philippines. She was a High School Biology teacher in J.P. Laurel for 20 years. She migrated to California in 1979 worked and became a supervisor at Fiserv.
She loved to shop, cook, read her magazines and spent time with her family.
A private viewing will be held on Monday, February 8, 2021 and burial on Tuesday, February 9, 2021 at Chapel of Chimes in Hayward, CA
