Jerry & Debbie Corrales
Hi Larina, Long time no see, Deb, and I have family members buried here, and the Mountain View Cemetery. I noticed your mom’s last name, then I saw your name. I’m sorry to read that your mom has passed on, My mother inlaw passed on 2 yrs ago at age 90 after a fall. My father inlaw died 28 yrs ago, and at every visit, mom would mention how much she missed Ralph, just as your mom missed your dad. At age 59, I can honestly state that the “Golden Years” at times aren’t so golden! I noticed that both our grandma’s shared the same first name “Maximina”. I had no idea that your mother only spoke Spanish when she arrived here from Spain. I found it funny that both of our parents met their future spouses at a dance. Deb, and I have been living in Fremont since we were married 33 yrs ago. Larina, I’m surprised you left Fremont for Ceres! We LOVE our Lake Elizabeth, I can’t ever see us leaving. Our Mission San Jose High School days are light years away now, sadly so many fellow classmates MSJH 1977 have passed. If you ever hear from Diane Karvonen tell I said Hi. Larina, since we both lived through the deaths of our fathers, I found out that time is the only thing that lowers the pain level. In closing, I just want to say the Larina Koehler I knew at Mission San Jose High School was a sweet, kind and gentle girl, and I’m sure your mom shared those qualities with you! Take care, Larina!
