Emiko Donigan's Obituary
Dec. 10, 1926 – Aug. 20, 2008 Resident of Hayward Emiko Donigan passed away peacefully on August 20, 2008 surrounded by her family. Born in Osaka, Japan, she moved to the U.S. in 1960. A devoted wife and mother with a cheerful, loving personality, she was multi-talented. She was a certified instructor in the art of classical Japanese folk dance. She also enjoyed making porcelain dolls, flower arranging, ballroom dancing, and cooking. Most of all, she enjoyed her family. Emiko is survived by her beloved husband of 52 years, Ralph Donigan; her sons Ralph Donigan, Jr. and John Donigan; daughter Kay Sherwood; grandchildren Andrea Donigan, Ralph Donigan III, Kristen and Sam Sherwood; brother Masashi Hane; sisters Kazue Hane and Miwako Sakamoto; and son-in-law Robert Sherwood.
