Emelda Carmen Thompson's Obituary
Emelda Thompson died peacefully in her home on Wednesday, July 4th, 2012 at the age of 93. Emelda was born in Michoacan, Mexico on December 3, 1918. She came to the United States and married Charles Thompson in 1946. They had a wonderful life together until Charles passed away on April 3, 1996. She has now rejoined him in heaven.Emelda, also known by many as Carmen, enjoyed walking, dancing, and most of all playing bingo with her friends every week. She was an amazing housewife, mother and grandmother and was the matriarch of our family. Emelda is survived by a daughter, Julie Crowson of Livermore, California who is married to Ronald Crowson of Livermore, CA and a son, Louis Thompson of San Leandro, California who is married to Neta Thompson of San Leandro, CA. She also leaves behind 2 grandchildren, Krystal Sanchez of Hayward, CA, and Bridgette Pratt of Encino, CA who is married to John Pratt of Encino, CA. Their son, Justin Pratt was the great grandson of Emelda.
