My cousin Ella was the model woman. She stuck to her African roots, she was a patient and kind teacher, a staple in her church. She made her own authentic African clothing and sold it in EAST OAKLAND on High St. She taught me so much about black history, and I wish I learned and listened more. Her Black Barbie collection was unmatched. When Obama become president she framed 5 photos of him, including a childhood one like he was her son. 😂
