Elizabeth Delgado Ochoa's Obituary
Elizabeth Delgado Ochoa was born on May 11, 1920 and was called home to her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, on February 8, 2025 at the young age of 104.
She was born to Fernando and Concepcion Delgado in Saltillo Coahuila, Mexico. In 1924 she came to the United States with her parents and lived in Chino, California. She was proud, as an adult, to become a citizen of the United States.
She married Casimiro (Casey) Ochoa in Corona, California in June of 1940, and they later moved to Berkeley, and then Santa Rosa, CA. They raised their family, teaching them by example, the value of faith in Jesus and a strong work ethic.
Elizabeth is preceded in death by an infant son, eldest son Edward, and husband (Casey). She is survived by her children: Ruth Salas-Ortiz of San Ramon; Robert Ochoa (Pearl), of Fairfield; Arthur Ochoa (Dianne) of Rohnert Park; Ronald Ochoa (Linda) of Los Angeles; and Lydia Day (Marc) of San Ramon. She was dearly loved by her many grandchildren and great grandchildren, and she dearly loved them all.
Her family at Gatetree Baptist Church in Danville, CA. was also a very special part of her life. She enjoyed participating in ministries such as Operation Christmas Child, The Bay Area Rescue Mission, and Next Step Pregnancy Decision and Support Center.
Elizabeth stood firm in her faith, never wavering, and wanting everyone to know her Lord Jesus Christ.
