Elizabeth 'Betty' R. Maynard a San Leandro, California resident entered into rest Thursday, September 12, 2002 in Redwood City. Born in Detroit, Michigan. She enjoyed quilting, sewing, traveling and knitting. She was a wonderful wife, mother and grandmother. Loving mother of Sandra Tangney of San Leandro and Randolph Maynard of Pacifica. Dear sister of James Cruden of Auburn, WA and Herbert Cruden of Banbury, Australia. Devoted grandmother of two grandchildren; Julia Elizabeth Maynard and Joella Gibbs,MD. and three great grandchildren. Loving aunt to Garth and Mark Cruden of Australia, Andrew Cruden of Arizona and Beth Gray of Missisippi. Dear sister-in-law to Benjamin and Barbara Jones and their children Bonnie, Bobby and Becky Jones. She was preceded in death by her granddaughter Kristy Bean.Visitation will be held Wednesday, September 18, 2002 from 5:00-8:30 p.m. at Chapel of the Chimes in Hayward. Friends are welcome to attend a funeral service Thursday, September 19, 2002 at 1:30 p.m. in the Reflection Chapel at Chapel of the Chimes Funeral Home. 'Service of Marked Distinction'
