Elizabeth Margaret Jackson, “Bette”, 79, of Hayward, California, formerly of Cleveland, Ohio, died peacefully in her sleep on November 5, 2015. Born August 16, 1936, in Cleveland, Ohio, she is predeceased by her parents, Charles and Margaret Blue, and her son William Arthur Jackson.Bette was a homemaker. For many years she ran a childcare center in her home while raising her own children. Later in life she worked in retail at a women’s clothing store. She loved to travel, and took trips to Europe, the British Isles, Mexico, and various places in the United States.Survivors include her husband William Arthur Jackson of Hayward, California, her sons Charles Michael Picker, of Bishop, California, and Christopher Alan Picker of Hayward, California, and daughter Susan Elisabeth Charles, of Queensland, Australia, as well as Kelly and Brigetta Picker (daughter-in laws) and Peter Mansfield (son-in law) and two grandchildren, Andrew Picker and Lisa Picker, both of Hayward, California, and her pet dog Paddy.Graveside services and burial will be held at at Lone Tree Cemetery 24591 Fairview Ave. Hayward, California on Monday morning November 16 at 10:30 ________________________Family meant everything to Bette
