Elizabeth Jose Guerrero's Obituary
Elizabeth Jose Guerrero also known as Ely and “Inang” to her own children was 89 years old when she passed away. She was surrounded by family on January 4, 2015 12:36 am at the Washington Hospital, Fremont, California. Inang was born in San Dionisio, Parañaque City, Philippines and married to Gregorio L. Guerrero on December 14, 1945. They were blessed with ten children. Inang raised her children in the Philippines until 1969 when she moved the family to Guam. In the early 90’s the family moved to Seattle, Washington and in 2011, she moved to California permanently. Inang had several jobs but the one job she enjoyed the most was taking care of her children and her grandchildren. She was a very loving and caring wife, mother and grandmother. Inang’s life was consumed with her children as they were growing up, but never failed to teach them that “all things are possible with God”.She is survived by her beloved husband, Gregorio; daughter, Estrella and grandsons and granddaughter of Seattle, WA: Eldon, Eunice, Edymir and Elree. Son and daughter-in-law: George and Sheila with granddaughters and grandson of Oklahoma City, OK: Andrea, Maria and Dick Gregory. Son and daughter-in-law: Gerald and Susan with granddaughter and grandson of Colorado Springs, CO: Liza and Patrick. Son (passed away on 2/20/12) and daughter-in-law: Gene and Alda with granddaughter and grandson of Valdosta, GA: Aldea and Genesis. Three daughters: Ethel, Evelyn, Elaine, Eileen and granddaughter and grandson, Jillian and Eli Edison of Newark, CA and Seattle, WA. Son and daughter-in-law: Gilbert and Jeanette with grandsons of Antioch, CA: Perry and Nicky. Daughter and son-in-law: Excel and Edwin with granddaughters of Seattle, WA: Elise and Emilia. She leaves behind many great grandchildren, cousins, nieces, nephews and friends. Viewing and visitations will take place Friday to Sunday, January 09 to January 11, 2015 at the Chapel of the Chimes Hayward, 32992 Mission Blvd., Hayward, CA 94544 from 5:00 pm to 9:00 pm. This will be followed by a memorial service on Monday, January 12, 2015, 9:15 am at St. James the Apostle Catholic Church,
