Elizabeth Jane Bower Jan. 21, 1923 – Nov. 28, 2011 Resident of Fremont Elizabeth Jane Bower passed away suddenly on November 28, 2011 in Chico, CA. at the age of 88. A lifelong resident of Oakland, CA, Betty was the loving wife of the late Willis Reed Bower who passed away in 1995. Betty was preceded in death by her parents Belle and Alfred Brown. She is the mother and mother in law of Dolores Williams and her husband Ken, Larry Bower and his wife Georgia the late Ronald Silva. She is the grandmother of eight, Great Grandmother of fourteen and Great-Great Grandmother of four. Betty also leaves a number of family and friends. Betty was a lifelong member of the Catholic Church. She loved music, playing cards, watching old movies, crossword puzzles, and lotto scratchers. A celebration of Betty’s life will be held Tuesday, December 6, 2011 at 10:00 am, at Chapel of the Chimes, 32992 Mission Blvd., Hayward CA.Funeral Service will be in the Reflection Chapel.
