Elise Gonsalves' Obituary
Elise Gonsalves, 83, a resident of Alameda County for 56 years, entered into rest in San Leandro on Thursday, April 18, 2002. She was born in Germany on April 4, 1919. A member of St. Felicitus Catholic Church in San Leandro. She worked part time for Del Monte Cannery during the Summers. A very giving, kind and compassionate person who enjoyed caring for her husband, sewing and cooking.She is survived by her beloved husband of 56 years, Almiro Gonsalves of San Leandro. She is also survived by seven nieces and four nephews and many nieces, nephews and many loving friends and neighbors.Family and friends may visit on Tuesday, April 23, 2002 from 5:30PM to 8:30PM in the Chapel of the Chimes Funeral Home, Hayward. A funeral service will be held at 11:00AM, Wednesday, April 24, 2002 in the Reflection Chapel of Chapel of the Chimes Funeral Home, 32992 Mission Blvd., Hayward, CA 94544.
