Eleanor Telles Abuan's Obituary
Eleanor Telles Abuan passed away on August 26, 2001 in Berkeley, California. Born in Morenci, Arizona in 1918, she was married to Mariano Saltiban Abuan, who preceded her in death in 1973. Eleanor, a retired homemaker resided in the Oakland and Berkeley area for over 60 years. She was the mother of eight children: Mariano, Jr., Raymond, John, Madeline, Tony and Elizabeth(Pollack); preceded in death by sons Eugene and Benjamin. She had 28 grandchildren, 17 great grandchildren, and one great-great granddaughter. Eleanor is also survived by two brothers, three sisters, many nieces, nephews and cousins. Visitation will be held Thursday, August 30, 2001 from 5 to 9:00, evening service will be held at 7:00 p.m. in the Mission Chapel. Funeral Service will be on Friday, August 31, 2001 at 10:00 a.m. also in the Mission Chapel at Chapel of the Chimes 32992 Mission Blvd. Hayward.
