Elaine Marie Camacho's Obituary
Elaine Marie Camacho was born on December 11th, 1966 on the beautiful island of Guam to Robert Camacho and the late Ana Camacho. She was the eldest with one brother, Keith Santos. Elaine spent her early years going back and forth from Guam to the states working as a Consolidator for Guam Cargo. Shortly after having her first born Maria Ann Camacho Guzman and only months later, her son, Johnny Ray Camacho Guzman (they were busy!), she settled in Hayward, CA in 1994 and held many positions in the Bay Area.Elaine devoted her life to her children, forever going above and beyond to give them the best she possibly could.Elaine did a lot of volunteering at Lorin Eden Elementary as well as doing yard duty from 1999 to 2004. There she grew her love for Child Development and would take on day care provider job offers. Through the years, many children have grown to love Elaine as a mother figure. Whether she was rounding up the kids to play hide and seek or taking a minute of her time to hear them out. She was the type of lady that made you feel heard, understood and never judged. On August 17th, 2005, she had her twins, her bread and butters, Shane Peter Guzman & Shawn Paul Guzman. It was then that medical issues would enforce doctors to tell Elaine she can no longer work. Elaine joined church groups, supporting people when needed and always found things to keep herself busy. When her twins started school, she continued volunteering and helping teachers that asked for her assistance. On June 14th, 2017, her first born granddaughter, Isabella Rose became her pride and joy. Elaine spent the remaining months of her life forming a close bond with Bella. Bella learned how to wave and make fart noises with her mouth all thanks to her nana. Bella was and still is territorial over anyone else on her nanas bed. Though it is only pictures, some videos and memories left, Bella will be raised knowing just how much her nana loved her and how crazy, funny, beautiful and sweet she was.“Elaine was always about family. No matter if it’s boring, she always puts a smile on everyone’s face and makes them happy and feel welcomed. Elaine will be remembered for her beautiful face and kindness” – Shawn“Elaine Marie Camacho was not just a crazy kid growing up (she told us childhood stories), she grew into a trusting and understanding independent woman who never judged others of their personality or background. Therefore, not only her kids, but everyone around her will always love and remember her in their hearts” – Shane“My cousin Elaine was one of the most special people in my life. Her strength was inspirational. Her love for her children was above and beyond. It showed how selfless she really was. She’d put anyone she loved before herself. Her loving nature was given to those she knew throughout her life” – Josh Camacho“Elaine my sister, my friend, my confidant, my go-to. You will be forever missed and never forgotten. I’ll always remember our laughs and that beautiful smile with your bachagu eyes. That sense of humor, realness, trust and sisterhood that can never be replaced. You’ve taught me the importance of family. Until we meet again in paradise sis, bottoms up to you and your legacy that I’m so honored to be a part of. U guiya hao che’lu” – Maggie CamachoOn Friday, April 6th, 2018, Elaine entered the gates of heaven. Leaving behind her four children and granddaughter.
