Efren Pangilinan's Obituary
Efren “Ted” Pangilinan a retired and lifelong residence of Hayward, CA was granted his angel wings on January 2nd 2021.
Efren was born September 27, 1950 to Herminiano & Leonora Pangilinan. He graduated from Angeles University in 1970 with a degree as Aircraft Mechanic and worked at US Air Force Base, Angeles City Philippines until moving to United States in September 1992.
Efren’s life would seem too short to all of us, but those who were touched by him understood that the quality of existence far exceeds the quantity of time in which one lives. Although he was not able to move as much as he wanted, he gave us all such courage and hope and reminded us of the preciousness of life. He loved to listen to his radio especially church hymns and his most favored old love songs. He could spend hours sitting in his favorite chair on the dining table and on the patio chair while surrounded by his loved ones and just listening to his music. He was most happy and content when his grandchildren are around him.
He will be deeply missed by his family, friends and all who he touched lives.
Efren is survived by his wife, Erlinda Pangilinan: children Melvin (Kimmie), Ted (Cherr), Carolyn (Francisco), Jemima (Arnel), Abby & Wilhelm.
Grandchildren Katrina, Ivan, Mileena, Caleb, Troy, Caelyn, Jaden, Teah & Ted “Picker”.
Brother Melanio: sisters Wilhelmina, Lillian, Eloisa & Mildred.
Arrangements are with Chapel of Chimes (Hayward)
