Edward Joseph Dufault, 67, passed away on Wednesday, October 10, 2001 at Stanford Hospital in Stanford, California. He was born on December 15, 1933 in Brockton, Massachusetts. He has been a resident of Union City, California for two years. He has been a resident of Alameda County for 39 years. Ed's family was a priority in his life and he was a faithful protector and provider. When he saw a need in those around him, he was a ready helper. Ed loved the Lord with all his heart and lived for Him. He enjoyed the out of doors, especially camping and trailering. Driving just to go for a ride was a delight.Ed was a warehouseman for Safeway in Fremont for 18 years. He served in the Navy from '55 to '57. He is survived by his wife of 39 years, Terri Dufault, daughter, Anne Menger of Hayward, son, Steve Dufault of Hayward, two grandchildren, Tim and Christina, and his sister, Anne Marie Kelly of Fall River, Massachusetts.Family and Friends are invited to attend a Visitation on Monday, October 15, 2001 from 5:00 p.m. - 8:30 p.m. and Chapel of the Chimes Funeral Home; 32992 Mission Boulevard, Hayward, CA 94544.
