Edna Fay Stout's Obituary
Edna Fay Stout a Grass Valley, California resident entered into rest Wednesday, September 11, 2002 in Grass Valley. Born in Madras, Oregon on March 9, 1917, she was 85 years of age. She was raised and educated in Oregon. Her husband Daniel and she lived most of their married life in the Bay Area. Edna returned to Oregon during the time that Daniel served in the military then returned to the Bay Area upon his return. Edna worked in food service for over 20 years with the past 10 years at Mt. Eden High School. Following the death of Daniel, her husband of 62 years, Edna moved to Grass Valley to live near her family in 1998. Loving mother of Geri Stout & Greg Cicatelli of Grass Valley and Daniel & Susan Stout of Salida. Dear sister of Marie Wilkinson of Arizona, Stella Cook of Oregon, Millie Ray of Utah and Roy Allen of Oregon. Devoted grandmother of four grandchildren and six great grandchildren Friends are welcome to attend a memorial service Saturday, October 12, 2002 at 2:00 p.m. at Community Church of Hayward-Fellowship Hall; 26555 Gading Road, Hayward, CA. Another memorial service will be held in her honor Sunday, October 27, 2002 at 2:00 p.m. at Sierra Presbyterian Church-Fellowship Hall; Ridge Road, Nevada City, CA.Memorial donations can be made to: American Diabetes Association; 1900 Powell Street, Suite 285, Emeryville, CA 94608.
